I've spent 14 years teaching math in Bergen County, and what I love most is watching the moment a concept finally clicks. Whether it's a 6th grader tackling fractions for the first time or a high schooler working through AP Calculus, my approach is the same: meet the student where they are and build confidence alongside skills.
I hold a Standard NJ teaching certificate in Mathematics (K–12) with an endorsement in Special Education. I've worked extensively with students on IEPs and 504 plans, adapting curriculum and pacing to fit each learner. I'm patient, organized, and I genuinely enjoy this work.
Sessions can be at your home, a local library, or virtual — whatever works best for your family. I'm flexible with scheduling and always happy to coordinate with your child's classroom teacher if that would be helpful.
